Poetry - 3

I sit at my window overlooking the sea
And I think of lands far away
I wonder what things people there see
I wonder, do they like today?
Is there someone out there like I am?
They wonder about someone else
They do the same things that I can
Is there someone like myself?
How could they help but wonder
What it is like over here?
What's their summer compared to ours?
Is their year like our year?
Do they hear the same bird songs?
Do they smell the same flowers?
Do their grasses grow so long
During the April showers?
I wonder if someone is looking this way
Wondering if there is someone like me
Wondering if I like the day
And wondering what I see

Early Poetry - 2

Vengeance is all around
When the sun goes down
And the wind begins to blow

The sky turns black
The stars don't shine
And the air becomes so cold

Over there
Behind the stone
A shadow of death is seen

You can't run
You can't hide
You can't even scream

As it fades away
You move about
Trying to be so brave

But you best beware of this night
For it brings vengeance
From the grave

Early Poetry

Blood red clouds fill the sky
Look towards the sun and wonder why
The breezes bring a scent of dead
Wonder if it is in your head
Then you see others looking about
On their faces a shadow of doubt
Something strange has taken place
You can see it on every face
Now the blue sky turns to green
People once kind now turn mean
Clouds once white turn to red
Common now becomes blood shed
Faces go from bright to shady
Then you think that maybe, maybe
Maybe it will pass by soon
Maybe bright will shine the moon
Maybe things will soon be right
When this day becomes the night

Desire

Morning sun silently slips into the room

Dispelling shadows as it creeps along the floor

The touch of heaven upon my hip urges me to wake

Memories of passion’s promise leave me hungering for more

I fully awaken as the breath of love kisses my neck

A whisper of desire tingles on my flesh as it dances in my ear

Warmth from the sun mingles with the warmth of love

Paradise is but a step away knowing that you are near

The tender rosebud, kissed by morning dew, begs to be loved

Trembling with the need to be touched, shivering as if it were cold

Anxious lips ache with longing knowing what thrill they will find

Gentle strokes softly roaming swiftly turning bold

Two hearts blend into one soul knowing each others desires
